Final Project Update Presentation

With only a few weeks to go in the semester I want you to create a presentation that serve both as an update to your project’s progress as well as a first draft of your final presentation.

Below is a description of the final presentation requirements, you may not be ready to complete all of them, especially if you have a number of addition sections to your site you’re still building.

Create the following slides for your presentation:

  • Title slide with the name of the site and your name, username, or discord name. USE the typography and color palette of the site.
  • Reference slide with a screenshot of the designspiration for your project. And additional slides of the box model…
  • A slide or set of slides which show screen shots of your site. FILL the slide with the screenshot, DIVIDE into slides if needed, and DO NOT distort. (Include earlier versions, drafts in-progress).
  • A slide with the primary palette and typography of headings and body text. USE the typography and color palette of the site to showcase.
  • A set of slides to showcase how HTML/CSS works to solve a particular layout problem. Web Design 2 will also showcase Sass code.
    • A slide with a screenshot of the portion of the site to be given a technical showcase;
    • A slide with the relevant HTML;
    • A slide with the relevant Sass (Web Design 2 only)
    • A slide with the relevant CSS
  • Give a slide with Next Steps and Stretch Goals
    • Next Steps are pieces that you know you need to still complete (finish section, add a planned additional feature, etc…
    • Stretch Goals are features you are hoping to add, but are not necessarily essential (animation, responsiveness, etc…)
  • A slide with a link to the site hosted on your server.
