If you want to use an FTP client on your personal computer instead of the C-Panel’s file manager in your Reclaim Hosting account, this is the tutorial for you!
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a method for connecting to your Reclaim Hosting Web Server using a tool that supports FTP connections. We’re going to use Cyberduck, an FTP client that been around since 2002 and has both Mac and Windows versions.
- Download and install Cyberduck. Launch the application.
- Log-in Reclaim Hosting and find in the C-panel under the files section find the
tab. - Create a new FTP account (be sure to generate and save your strong password) and make sure the directory is set to
public_html.
- After creating the account, find the FTP client configuration

and find the configuration details
- Use the configuration details and your password to open a connection in Cyberduck (change default FTP to FTP-SSL)

- After you’ve successfully connected, immediately bookmark the connection for future use! You will now be able to drag and drop folders/files into your server!
