Font Identification Exercise

Go to any website of interest and take a screen shot of a card or a page that shows the heading and body text used. You may have more than one of each.

Then using the inspector identify the following traits of each font:

  • size in pixels
  • font name, secondary font, and default (serif or sans-serif or Cursive)
  • hex color
  • purpose (heading, sub-heading, or body text)
  • 54px
  • Druk, helvetica, sans-serif
  • #000000
  • Heading
  • 12px
  • WiredMono, helvetica, sans-serif
  • #1A1A1A
  • Sub-Heading
  • 15px
  • BreveText, helvetica, sans-serif
  • #333333
  • Body Text
